We Are the Cultural Heart of the Community
The Pocahontas County Opera House is a 250 seat historic theatre located in Marlinton, West Virginia. The Pocahontas County Opera House Foundation puts on an annual performance series to bring in both local and international musicians, theater groups, and other performers to Pocahontas County, West Virginia.

Deera’s Country Funeral by Ned Dougherty, with shows on Friday, Sept. 12, and Saturday, Sept. 13 at 7 PM, plus a Sunday, Sept. 14 matinee at 3 PM.
Hackensaw Boys

Roots band Hackensaw Boys have been making crowds cheer and dance since 1999. Started in Charlottesville and now based in Lynchburg, Virginia, they tour a lot and have fans worldwide for their lively shows and genuine style.
Cristina Vane

Children’s Theater Camp

The Rustic Mechanicals present Shakespeare’s Macbeth
Sunday, July 13 at 3p.m.
Murder! Prophecy! Witches! ...and Love! A prophecy tempts Macbeth and his wife to rush to royalty. The Rustic Mechanicals' founders play the ambitious couple whose desire destroys their love and lives.
